Yasmin is a widely known birth-control pill, which acts by preventing ovulation, thus protecting a woman from the undesired pregnancy. - If you notice slight bleeding while you are taking Yasmin, do not stop taking it as it may be a first reaction to Yasmin. However, if bleedings become heavier do not hesitate to get in touch with your physician.
- If you are taking a course of antibiotics or any other serious medication alongside with Yasmin the effectiveness of Yasmin pills may be decreased. In this case you are at risk to get pregnant. To avoid it use an additional method of contraception (for example, condoms).
